My preference on type of location would be to keep it a little towards the low-key and relaxed side, in deference to my advanced years and all. The Cottage Bar without the smoke...

Its dollar beers at bennigans by grapvine mills(st pattys training) Lemme know if you guys wanna grab a beer or somethin wednesday or thursday. If you like mexican food, theres a christinas fairly close and they have some damn good margarittas too! I got a wedding fri and sat to go to. |

I think we're trying to keep it somewhat local, for us "out of towners" so we don't end up in Dallas when everybody meets in Ft Worth, or something to that effect. I'm up for suggestions. I am going golfing tomorrow, probably 2 or 3 PM, so if anybody's interested, I'll have more info later. |

Anybody interested, let me know. It's supposed to be nice tomorrow afternoon. I'll call first thing in the morning and set up a tee time...I just need to know who's in. If more people can attend on Thurs or Fri, now is the time to let us know. Killbilly, how's your schedule? Captain Bob, how's bribing your in-laws going? This course is in North Arlington, address is 801 Brown Blvd. It's between Collins and Cooper, south of Green Oaks Blvd. let me know if you need directions. I missed out on golf on Sunday because I looked at the forecast, and then couldn't find a place with rentals, so we'll see what happens. That was literally me today, so it'll be much worse tomorrow...V1 cut after V1 cut after V1 cut. My instructor said we'll be doing "batting practice" with them, until we feel comfortable. Tomorrow's the first time for me, getting the V1 cut virginity knocked out of me in a jet in a big way. |
