As for directions from LAX, take the 405 South and exit at Inglewood Ave. You'll make a right off the ramp. First stoplight will be Manhattan Beach Blvd and you make a right and go for about 1 mile to Aviation Blvd. Make a left on Aviation and that will dead end into PCH. Make a left on PCH and the bar is about 3/4 a mile on the west (right) side of the street.

I'm not that familiar with the South Bay but that's the best way I know. There is other stuff to do in the area as well incase you guys get tired of hearing Shook Me All Night Long

who was it that said they had room or floor space? I'm looking at a few hotels but they're not suites so we wouldn't have a couch for max to stay on.

unless you don't mind paying for your own room max? it'd probably be at least $100/nt

max is more than welcome if he needs a place to stay. the only thing i caution is i have two dogs. they are cool but if you are allergic or just flat out hate dogs then my place isnt the best.

I'd take up that oakwood apartment but we don't have enuff people for a 2 bedroom (to lower cost) and we wouldn't be getting there till at least 9 or 10 pm which might be too late to pick up a key(?).. i don't know.

Residence Inn (Long Beach) (I think they have a couch)
$129

Oakwood has a one bedroom apartment (Long Beach) (with a couch)

Homewood Suites about $70 (Cypress)

Courtyard (Huntington Beach, $79)

hey mike... we'll do that one bedroom at oakwood if we can pick the key up really late at night?

and yes, i know.. i'm being picky and indecisive...but i'm a light sleeper, snoring no worky with me so there has to be a wall separating if max is a snorer.

ok, we're all set up at the Oakwood. we've got a king bed and maxie's got a couch!

Mike, Shari said that you most likely wouldn't be able to pick up a key because they need all our "info" when we check in. so,she said there's a security guy there 24/7 and he'll just check us in when we get there!

NOW i'm excited! what time can you be at our house max?

Get off work at 2:30pm. If it is a normal light Friday traffic I'd say 3:30pm at the latest!

As for snoring, well Karr says he rarely hears me snoring. But just to save myself some embarrassment. I'm coming prepared. So no worries!

First of all, mpenguin is a badass for doing all the legwork. But I just realized that I don't think we can do Yankee Doodle's; we've got minors with us.
