| Hey to all my SLC'ers - The FIS World Cup Moguls and Aerials are going on this Thurs/Fri/Sat. It's free and open to the public if anyone is interested in going. I'm going to be there all 3 days and all 3 nights - so shoot me a PM and hopefully we can get some sort of meet up together! http://www.deervalley.com/services/w...-world-cup.jsp |

| Old Skool | I'd be glad to get together with anyone in the area. If we can get a solid day/time nailed down I will work it into the schedule. |

| Big Chief's Woman | how are the hotel rates up there right now? i don't know how to ski.. but if there's a sledding area.. i'm there! |

| Old Skool | In PC pretty high, it is high ski season and Sundance is next week I think, in SLC they are pretty standard for the motel 6, best western types. As to sledding hills, they abound. |

| Old Skool | Of all weeks! We are having Kyla's bday party Friday night. Otherwise we could make it a cabin weekend and you wouldn't have to get hotels! (So long as you wanted to drive 30ish minutes to Park City, if that was worth the free stay). Corbin works on Saturday, otherwise I'd be able to go back up after Kyla's party, but we can't stay in the cabin w/o a male. |

| Old Skool | Actually, I could come up any time tomorrow, and up until about 4 on Friday and any time Sat. But most likely with the kids. Emily is the free thing something kids like or is it a grown up thing? |

| Michelle - I think it's something the kids would really like - in the evening (8pm -9:30) they have the aerials finals which is where they go off of the huge jumps and flip and twist and do all sorts of cool stuff before landing. The biggest problem I could forsee would be it being later at night and you stand outside in the cold (no seating). If you'd rather come during the day, they're doing the moguls finals between 1pm-2p - same thing though, standing in the cold, no seating. I'm planning on being at both since I don't have to work! :-D On another note though, if there is a weekend when Corbin is free, I'd love to try and get people together at your cabin again - that was so much fun last time!! |

| Old Skool | Unfortunately right now, Corbin's only days off are Monday and Friday. He is interviewing w/ UVSC on Friday though (FINALLY!!!!) for a CFI position, and then he'll quit his weekday shifts to instruct, but he'll still have the weekend shifts to make the money. So I don't forsee any free weekends any time soon. You just need some midweek time off! As for this weekend though, I don't know how long the kids would be able to stand the cold, but I saw that there is fireworks at night, which they love. If it's standing outside, in areas where I couldn't really push a stroller, then that would really reduce their patience. I can backpack Kyla, but Caleb won't stand too long w/o getting mad. Is there any kind of seating at all? At the very least, we could still come up for lunch or dinner and watch maybe an hour of stuff outside. |

| the fireworks are on Fri/Sat nights and you wouldn't really be able to push a stroller since it's up a hill covered in snow (one that is normally skied on!) The only seating I remember from last year are some bleachers, but I think that's for the VIP only (ie the ones who buy tickets!) I really only know my schedule on a week to week basis with no set days off - like this week I had wed/thurs off, and next week i've got thurs/fri/sat off but that's cause my parents are in town. let's try and do dinner on say - monday night? even if it's just me and you and the kiddos in provo, i'd still like to see you!! ![]() |

| Old Skool | Sure, if it's Monday Corbin can be there too. Or I could go w/o kids. Or Corbin could take the kids home after dinner and we could have some girl time. Or whatever. ![]() |

| Big Chief's Woman | I'm gonna try and get up there if doug decides to go home this weekend (to see his family) AND if loads are working in my favor... i might have to stay near the airport in SLC cuz it'll be cheaper but at least i'd be there for like a day or so! ![]() dunno how i'm gonna get around and stuff or what the plan is gonna be.. but Michelle thinks she can do someting on saturday..that might work out good. |

| Dang I have access to a house in Midway not being used at all. It would be a great crash pad! BDHill is that a Loomis or Sage? What section of the provo? |

| Old Skool | Neither, I think that is my Scott A2 5 weight or maybe it was the 4 weight. it was below Deer Creek Dam if I remember right, I moved around a bunch that day. That was one of my three non guiding days I had last summer. Everything sort of ran together. |

| hmm you guide? we need to work a deal this year.. any gear you need? how are your skillz on the green my favorite is a t&t paradigm 3wt but i use my scott 4pc the most. I only sell loomis and sage now |

| Old Skool | I dont get out to the Green much, mostly working out of PC on the Middle Provo and Weber, but do well every time I go out there. I made a point of logging some of my solo CC time out to 33U but that walk down to the river is a long one. I only did it twice. As for gear, there are always wants, but not much that falls into the need category right now. I have been wanting to get a second 2x4, I mean GL3 6 weight, I love that rod for guiding. |

| Old Skool | Ive been busy too, I have my instrument ride next wednesday. It hasnt been warm enough to fish lately anyway, clearing the ice out of your eyelets every two minutes is worthless. If it breaks 40 then it might be time to hit it though. |
