Default Northwest Meet and Greet

I would like to see a NW M&G set up, I am even willing to coordinate it. Just want to know where you want to do it.
So vote.
Please

Oh and as for the beach, I may have access to a cabin to stay in for the beach option (Just N. of Long beach) if you all don't mind throwing down sleeping bags on the floor.
Also we can discuss making this a camping theme event.

I'd be up for it. A beach camping thing would be fun in the summer.

Long beach Washington. I am helping my best friends parents build a cabin up there and they let me use the house and property, it is big enough we can sprawl out in the house and set up tents outside too. There is a working bathroom and electricity and water in the cabin.

I would rather have it in seattle if possible. My limited funds won't let me drive a few more hours to the south.

That sounds cool, any where really works for me. But I voted for the beach.

I am planning to head to Seattle for the 787 Rollout, while in Seattle (Summer Time), I can set up a tour of the Seattle-Alteon training Center with some sim rides, & can set up a Alaska Air Ramp/Operations Tour.....

Not sure if that is something to plan around?

Sounds like we might need to set up two dates. One for the tour and one for the beach.
MP- is the roll out party an exclusive event or could all involved attend?

Not that I know of, but, let me check, not sure if Boeing can afford to close the Plant like they have done in the past....

I already have approval from Alaska Air for a tour & from Alteon Seattle, between those two, that could be a full day.....

That's the problem, the only thing that Boeing will say is Summer! So, if you want, we can always do it twice? Once in Seattle during the Summer, the other will be a date that you work out.

That will probably be the best way, as it would give people time to plan their vacations, I have asked all over & nobody has even heard of an unofficial date.....

Can family members be present for this one? I went to the 737NG roll out and that was quite fun.

Cessnaflyer,

I live in Spokane, so depending on the date and place that is agreed upon, i may be able to stop in Moses Lake and pick you up.

we'll see if the date jives with work/school.

I talked to a family friend that works at Boeing there in Everett, and they said that the rollout was scheduled for August 2007. No official day I guess.
