we've got it scheduled on our calendar.. should find out sometime soon if Dough was able to get it off or not.

Will be a nice car ride for us which is something we typically look forward too (keeps us out of the airport)!

The cabin trainer is for the flight attendants to train on. I also think they do emergency egress procedures also.

I work just down the road from LAX and live in downtown Long Beach so if anyone is flying to LAX on Thurs or Fri afternoon/evening and wants a ride to this area, just let me know. I drive a convertible so there will only be room for 2 people (3 if you're willing to hold your luggage on your lap)!

John

If this works out, it could be a killer tour, I have time available in the MD11, 717, MD88, 737-200, & the Cabin Trainer, I just need to get some Instructors to volunteer their time, which should not be a problem. Will see what else I can pull off.....

Let me see what I can dig up! I sent an email to the Oakwood Apartments, sometimes they have good rates on two bedrooms, this way you guys can buddy up.....

Long Beach Hotel Options

Oakwood Apartments (which are pretty nice)

2 bedroom the rate is $215/plus tax, or a 1 bedroom for $145/day plus tax.
The Oakwood could place 2 twin beds in the 1 bedroom or 4 twin beds in the 2 bedroom.

They Oakwood does have Studio's and they are $110/day plus tax. You could only place 1 person or a couple in a studio.

Wow, this shaping up to be a good weekend. If anyone else needs a place to crash I live in Hermosa Beach and can accomodate a couple of people if need be. You'll be on a couch or the floor, but I suppose that's better than the streets of LGB for the night!

There is a slight chance that I can make it out if all the stars align.

That is if there is no exam on Monday, the loads are good, and I can find someone to work for me over the weekend.

I Soooooo need to meet some of you.
