Since we're all pilots here it's probably better to keep it on the $ side instead of $$$$$.

I'm in if the times are right.
why not go to the new restaraunt at LGB? It is pricey so I have heard but you can look out onto the airport. Not that big a deal if you fly or work there like I do.
Still good times.
There are many places to eat around there.

Guys, can we keep the talk restricted to the thread in the Meet/Greet section?

I will list some restaraunt ideas as well as whether it is pricey or not....

Good call. Hey can we get one of the mods to try to combine these threads and either throw them in general topics on a sticky or meet/greet?

That would be a job for Super Mod, Steve C. He is the ultimate combiner of multi-threads, c'mon Steve, throw on that red cape!

San diego is about a 2 hour drive from LA. Dont know how many would be interested in doing so. I've taken the train and it's actually really nice right by the coast, but not too much fun with a bunch of folks in the mood to drink.

Also February for the beach? Ouch...talk about cold!

I've gotta double check something at work and make sure I can get that Saturday off (shouldn't be a problem), otherwise Sunday.

I love the ride over from Long Beach. It is fairly inexpensive, but when you get to Catalina is when you need the money

If the date is Feb 10 / Feb 11, I will see about setting up some 717 full flight simulator time, I should be able to get an Instructor to volunteer his time. As we get closer & firm the date, will see what else I can do.....

I think we can call it firm for the 10th or the 11th, Mikey, at least for me. We're running our indoc class at the begining of that week and it's pretty much a given that we get that weekend off from training guys.

That'd be badass if you could set something up!

10th and 11th is cool.

I found a decent looking trucker that was willing to drive me to Santa Fe.... that's about halfway.

I'm hoping my dead sexiness can get me the rest of the way.

That sounds good to me. I'm being TDY'd to Oakland next week and then Seattle for two weeks after that. Hopefully I'll be here to hang out.
