| Big Chief's Woman  |  First weekend in January... is typically the BEST weekend to non-rev anywhere.. it's right after the holidays, most people stay home and you can get to practically anywhere... so, those with benefits and a friday-monday off -> where should we go? overseas would probably be the best or more rewarding trip.. however, we could plan the ski-trip around then. Doug and I don't ski (nor do we have the $$ to purchase all new ski equipment to learn), but we will join you all for an irish coffee or who knows what!  |

A used pair of Salomon Scream Hots for $210 And a pair of lightly demoed Fischer RX8s for $410 There was a bigish ski sale up here about a week ago. A new pair of good stuff will run close to a grand, plus boots. A set of decent used stuff should run about $600 Skiing is expensive but there are deals out there.

| Re: First weekend in January... I'm looking for any excuse to go snowboarding this year. I missed all last season for no good reason. I suppose if I had to I could even stomach skiing again, though I haven't been on skis since I started boarding several years ago.

| Re: First weekend in January... Im always down for a good ski trip! Rocketman, let me know! Julie and I will have to bid the same line that month so that we can go also. My wife's parents have a place in Crested Butte and my grandparents have a cabin in Tahoe. I'll start looking into it and se if we can have a mini-bash! Good to hear that everyone had a great time at Net JC! I was sitting reserve up in Buffalo :-(
