Hey TechFlyer, Mt. Bachelor.....Mt. Flatulor is more like it . It dumped up at Alta yesterday. Took the day off from flying and made some turns. It's starting to look like winter!!!

No loyalty towards Bachelor huh Getrad??? Haha, you're an east coaster at heart anyway . Just kiddin'...have you done much skiing since you moved out there? I've only had time to get up to Bachelor once since it opened a couple weeks ago. It's got a 62" base right now so it's not too bad. Dude you might have to take a reunion trip out here. Make it a long dual xc with one of your students, haha. Do they make ski racks for a 172?

Ouch, those east coaster comments really hurt , I thought I lived that down years ago. It's ok though, I know you're just envious , that "cascade cement" will do it to ya! I haven't really been up skiing much, it's still really rocky. I see way too many people get all excited and hurt themselves in the early season. But yeah, Believe it or not, I have fit skis into the 172, It just takes some creative maneuvering to get them in and out.

TheShortOne ... quick question. I see you live in Park City. About 10 of us from the center are heading out to Park City to do some skiing at the end of January. Any tips on good places to eat and drink ??? None of us have been there before so we're trying to scope out some good spots to check out.

Wasatch Brew Pub is always a good bet, Cisero's has a kick ass restaurant (Italian). As far as drinking is concerned, downstairs Cisero's is a good bar that usually gets going on Wed nights. O'Shucks is a nice little hole in the wall type of place that has $3 fishbowls of anything on tap on tuesday nights. No Name Saloon has killer burgers, and the Spur has great margaritas (also smoke free!!)

hopefully that helps some!

Great info... thank you. A few of us who are going were just talking about this the other day, we googled the area to try and get a list of some good spots to check out. I prefer to go to places that people recommend.

Thanks again.

No word that I have heard of. I would like to see something happen. We need some new snow.

I've got Thursday off if anyone wants to go for a ski or a beverage (adult or not doesn't matter to me)

Hmm...I could come up Thursday but it would probably be with my kids. Sometimes they're cute. Other times, not so much.
