BTR on Thur 8/10?

Anyone gonna be in Baton Rouge on Thursday the 10th? I've got an 18 and a half hour layover there, and I might need some other distraction other than the casino near the hotel.

BTR eh? Not much to do in my opinion except walk around and see LSU paraphernalia everywhere. It's quite annoying.

Eh, the hotel is actually pretty sweet by regional standz. Free wireless, a casino in the lobby (more or less), a pricey buffet restaurant downstairs, a couple of even pricier restaurants, right on the river. BUT, the USS Kidd is right next door, so that was cool. $7 for the museum and the battleship.

Back in the day, my cubscout pack slept on the Kidd every 6 months. It's been a long time since I've done that...

Is the traffic bad (We never made it to Baton Rouge on our "evacuation vacation" and they said there's more people per square mile than any other city in the state since the storm)?

Don't know about the traffic. I let the hotel van driver worry about it.

I hate i missed this post, im in BTR every single day, and i actually want to go up and meet some controllers, if your ever here again during a weekday 12-3ish im up for it.
