April 11th - IAD area

Anyone in the Fairfax/DC area wanna get together for dinner on this night? We have a new hearing date - on the 12th.. so both doug and I will be in town as we have to do deposition on Tuesday with our attorney. we'll be in the warrenton area most of the day... but will probably stay up in Fairfax near IAD.

Also will probably be coming in sometime after that to pack things away into storage.

Well, count april 11th out!

but put tenatively either the 1st weekend in april or the weekend of april 15th on there...

I can't do the 11th cuz i'll be getting into town too late, but we have to come out some weekend in april anyways to take care of all the "things" that have been on hold since jan...so one of those two weekends will probably be it..

sorry we're so flighty!! :-P

ok, we're scheduling April 28th/29th as our Virginia trip.. not all fun and games, but it would be nice to get together with everyone up in the Manassas/Fairfax/DC area...

We'll most likely be staying down between Manassas and IAD since that's where most of our "shuttling" will take place. we have to move things from a house to storage and from small storage to bigger storage.. yay.. fun... :-P

Anyone up for dinner/drinks/nitetime fun on the 29th?

ummm not me, i don't have any and I have plenty of stuff that has to be brought back here to AZ, so my bags are already full...haha

btw - we've rescheduled our dates to this weekend (Fri-Sat) because my dad's being an ass...so i wanna get this stuff done and out of my hair...

Anybody have a hitch on their car or a hauling trailer? I have a car i have to move that has an expired title and no insurance... don't know how to move it yet because a "trip permit" in virginia requires a virginia title and this doesn't have one. hmmm I should put this in the lav to see if anyone knows how i can do this without getting in trouble...

How did everything go? Would have enjoyed meeting up, but Easter was a bad weekend with much going on.

Did that cover what was going to be your trip over on 28th/29th?

Yes it did cover the end of the month trip.. it was a long hard "bear" of a weekend.. we got stuck moving in rainstorms and my dad's jeep wasn't able to be moved (we might have to be back there in a month) because there were new baby birds nested in the back spare tire (imagine that!!)...

I tell ya what, i felt like I was moving in Florida heat... it was somewhat cool, then it rained and got extremely humid and i haven't sweated like that in years!!! haha

so we might have to go back, ship some things home, move the jeep etc..which would also give me another opportunity to visit my dad...so who knows!

but there was absolutely no way we could have met up, it just wasn't enough time. However, we did find out (yet again) that Easter is actually one of the best days to non-rev!!! the boat was WIDE open all the way home...
