Hey guys/gals I'll be in town for the next week, flying out of Opa Loca, just curious if anybody wants do do an early dinner, or something. I have a show-time of 1915 M-T, Friday I don't show until 2200, so if anybody's in the area let me know and we'll figure out a duty-friendly meet-up. TX |

Hmm, Opa-Locka is kinda in ghetto territory. Not exactly worth eating around the airport, unless you wanna go for McDonalds. There are a bunch of other places in Miami and Fort Lauderdale I could tell ya about. You should check out the "graveyard" there. they have some pretty cool birds out there.

If you want good authentic cuban, you without a doubt have to eat in little Havana. A good place to go is La Carreta. Most people don't speak english in there (but they'll help ya with the order), but hey, thats a sign of what makes it good, right?
