|  AOPA Expo The AOPA Expo is in Tampa at my home airport = KTPF (Peter O. Knight Airport) starting tomorrow. If anyone is coming down for this shindig, give me a holla!  I'll be working the event all three days and would enjoy meeting some of you folks. ......and, yes, folks (coughcoughtTENNEYcough  ) - jets CAN land at TPF. So far, we have a Beech Premier, a CJ-III and are expecting the Adams-Jet and two more.  We've been informed by AOPA that the 103 static display aircraft will be the largest display they have ever had!!  Should be cool! Stan

 | That would be awesome to visit! I did my initial CFI out of Peter O. Night... I remember my flight partner kept calling it Peter O'Toole airport on the radios... "Peter O'Toole Traffic, Seminole 41 Bravo on final" LOL! Great memories! Bob

| Wow, I haven't posted here in forever. I work in the Amsouth building which is about 200 yards from the convention center and about 2 miles from Peter O'Knight. I am fairly high up in the building so I can see the airport from here. It is killing me to sit here and watch the planes taking off and landing over there. I think I might have to leave work early to go check things out today. Tomorrow, Saturday, will be way too crowded for me.
