| Big Chief's Woman | Anyone up for getting together either Friday or Saturday night in orlando? I'll be in town visiting my sister (doug is still in the "maybe" zone). She lives in Claremont (sp) & hubby works at disney - so we could do something disney if ya'll wanted to. not sure what sis has planned for the weekend yet, but she, hubby & baby might also come with if we all get together (plus it would give her an opportunity to meet some new ladies in the area right?! *hint hint - bring the wives/kids*) either way, let me know if your interested and we'll try to get something going. |

| We're ready when you are! I'll be working the Comair ramp on Friday evenening. I have Sat and Sun off. Both days are wide open. I know a lot of the CHQ and Comair flights have been light this week. Check the loads on those flights. We sent the last Comair flight this evening to RDU with one I repeat one pax! No baggage, just one carry on. |

| Big Chief's Woman | Stan - where you at? gotta come so we can meet Mrs R2F & baby!! JT, how bout it? Kellwolf, will we finally get a chance to see Nessa again & meet Gavin? If we get enuff people, maybe Brian's parents will let him come up... ok, so let's plan for saturday night.. around dinner time... considering kids are also invited (cuz I won't have a car so sister, hubby & baby will be coming with), let's plan on someplace that both kids & adults can have some fun...is there anywhere near the disney or downtown otown area that would be acceptable..is there a jillians or is it gameworks there (where kids can go play and parents can sit/talk/beer)? |

| Old Skool | Stan is pretty far away from Clermont, probably a two hour drive. It's almost an hour for us. What are your plans for downtown? Friday night is a great night to go down town if you love crowds, no parking, loud music, and beer spilled all over you ![]() We have no plans for Friday night. It would be great to meet for coffee somewhere. In fact I'll open up my office to all JC'ers Friday evening - second floor of Sheltair Jet Center and the coffee is FREE. |

[/ QUOTE ] Ok it's early - I thought I read your post but missed the saturday part LOL. Disney has many such places but saturday night will be pretty crowded. Let me check with Kathleen (when she gets up) and see what she suggests. My offer for the office stands on either day. |

| I hafta work Saturday night....I'll see if I can get off. What's on the agenda? Dinner? |
| |
| | #18 |
| Big Chief's Woman | technically, there's no real agenda.. just snacks/drinks and/or dinner I think I know there's a restaurant next to the municipal airport but i don't know if it's open anymore.. isn't there a restaurant over there with a patio and all? I know i used to go there for happy hour back in college. another location i'm thinking might be disney's boardwalk (they have a microbrewery there)? if anything, I nominate Adobe Gila's off of I-drive (one of the best margarita places if it's still open) but i can't remember the strip it's in...pointe orlando, I think? comeon Orlando/Central Fla/Tampa/Daytona peeps, I know your out there...this is a chance to have your own "really large" meet & greet!! It's not THAT far of a drive!!!! I'll probably be driving down to tampa on saturday morning to take care of some business, but it won't be but for a few hours at the most, so meeting in otown is going to be the best option. |

| Old Skool | There are LOTS of those kind of places on the boardwalk. Pick one and let us know ![]() |

| Big Chief's Woman | ok, i'm gonna propose Downtown Disney's Jazz Kitchen, Saturday 4pm...Anyone been there before? hopefully it's good! thoughts? I figured 4pm so as not to hit the suppertime rush! If your going to be able to make it, please let me know how many will be in your party (wife/kids etc) so i can get a table large enough! I'll need to know by Friday. |
| |
| | #21 |
| Big Chief's Woman | well, it was just brought to my attention that Jazz Kitchen is actually at DisneyLAND.. not DisneyWORLD... so let's go for the Capn Jack's Restaurant... sounds like a pretty casual place plus i've always wanted to go to DisneyQuest... ![]() |

| Old Skool | [ QUOTE ] Kellwolf, will we finally get a chance to see Nessa again & meet Gavin? [/ QUOTE ] Sorry, We're in Tupelo, MS right now. Nessa hasn't been back to Orlando (except once to see my friend's band) since last August, and we've already talked about my fubared return. We'll have to catch up with ya next time. ![]() |

| Old Skool | DisneyQuest = HUGE arcade playland. If ya go, make sure you build your own rollercoaster and ride it. They have classic arcade games (Spy Hunter, Pong, Tron, Dig Dug, Frogger, etc) downstairs and to the right. As far as casual places at Downtown Disney, there's tons. Wolfgang Puck's has an express across from Virgin Megastore with a patio outside, Captain Jack's in the Marketplace is good and in the middle of the afternoon, the sausage place in Pleasure Island has NO crowd at all. I wanna say there's a fairly fast Italian place with a patio area in the Marketplace as well. If only House of Blues had a quick service area...... |

| Sounds great! I think Downtown Disney has free parking, so that shouldn't be a problem and it's before the partiers roll in and take over |
