Default Washington DC anyone?

Since I'll be up there in the unforseeable future.. figured i'd put this out there!

Looks like near Arlington Hospital would be best for me esp since I have no clue as to where near DCA or IAD it is!!

A quick cab ride away from DCA. Everything okay, Kristie? If you need anything, let me know.

everything's ok right now.. but i'm still planning on going up there this weekend (saturday/sunday) for visiting hours...

just seeing if anyone wants to meet up in between! don't know my way around that well, but we used a GPS unit last week and that worked quite well!

could probably get together before 3pm and after 7:30 on saturday/sunday!

he's in arlington - i have no clue where near DCA or IAD that is!

Looks like DCA is a lot closer, by far:

Mapquest

5 miles to DCA compared to 17 miles to IAD. We can even use the layover hotel and get ya introduced to the Crystal City Diner!

Well, you could also introduce her to the Crystal City Sports Pub, where she can watch her Baaaaghers.

You've got my cell. Call me if you want.

And the Pho place too. That's where I'd normally dine when I'd have a late pickup the next day. A Washington Post and a bowl of soup with all of the weird stuff in it.

Well, it's probably a half a block walk from Crystal City. I had lunch there during a layover. Hang a right at Legal Seafood on the corner, walk half a block down turn left and there's the Crystal City entrance.

huh? half a block? looks more like 12 minute drive to me! I'm not that interested in seeing Crystal City or staying at the layover hotel if it's not going to be that close to the hospital...and I betcha we can't even get a super discounted rate anyways.. so what would the point be?

Saturday night might be the best time to catch us...want to plan on something Tony?

anyone else in the DC area that would like to join?

Ahh, so you don't want my help, but you'd like dinner to be hot and fresh once you get home, eh?

I'm starting to feel the effects of the pharyngitis again, perhaps I'll just go back to bed and leave everything for tomorrow! ha!

Would love to meet up if we weren't committed to a bunch of family functions this weekend ... in fact Amy and I are closer to DC at her parents for the holiday weekend (small town 'tween Manassas and Warrenton).
