| We're going to Disney after Sun 'n Fun - trying to ck w/ AAA for any discounts on the 4 day hopper pass -- word of advice - watch out for those operations that offer 'free Disney' passes, etc. - remember the old phrase 'if it sounds too good to be true........" |

[/ QUOTE ] It CAN be done on the cheap, or at least cheap of Disney. You just have to be smart about it. Yeah, it does seem like everytime you turn around you're handing over cash, that is unless you plan ahead. What are you planning on doing? I can probably give ya some indider tips. Sadly, I'm actually craving a Disney trip myself. Now that I'm distanced from them by about 5 years, I'm sorta de-bittered. |

| Junior Member | Word of advise from a local... Invest or take a small cooler (or at least a backpack) and take some drinks, especially if you have kids. Just to give you a heads up; bottled water/soda will run you about $3 a pop! Even warm water is better than that! A little tid-bit I picked up when I worked there, They have all operating cost paid for by the time you walk through the gate (ie. employees, power, entertainment, EVERYTHING). Everything you spend inside of the park is 100% positive revenue! FYI |

We planned on just getting a 2-day park hopper, but I am starting to consider a three day. We are staying at the Disney Port Orleans Riverside Resort. |

It was called Dixie Landings when I worked there. I start at the food court there before I moved to Tomorrowland Attractions. The idea about bottled water is the best you'll get. Backpacks with bottled water and snacks are your best friend. You'll find water fountains in the parks to re-fill the water bottles. For a short trip like that, talk it over and decide what you want to do. The three day will probably be a better deal, and probably a necessity if you want to do more than one and a half parks. Remember, the admission (like was mentioned earlier) covers the operating costs. Disney makes their money off of merchandise and food. |

| Old Skool | Any updates on a JC booth? I'm gonna try and make it at least one day. Have a friend w/ a condo in Kissimmee and am going to look into possibly staying there if available. If that happens, I'd be willing to offer up floor space.....but, we'll see.....no chicken counting going on yet! It'd would be nice to finally meet some other fellow JC'ers. |

| Big Chief's Woman | yup, not gonna be a booth...we missed the deadline and there's just too much on our plates right now, we'll have to check it out for next year! I don't think either one of us will be able to make it this year, i have a training thing going on that weekend that i can't skip out on unfortunately.. but I will be in the otown area the weekend of the 22nd to visit my sister. |
