| Old Skool | Heya everyone, So lilrkt PMed me and says that him and adreamer are interested in getting together for a little JC meet and greet. The week after Thanksgiving was thrown out, and honestly works great for me. So here's my proposal: Thursday, December 2nd we get together for some food and fun in Lansing, MI. It's nice and centrally located. The guys up in GR can come down easily, it's not too far from Kalamazoo, and I-96 goes right from Detroit on up so it makes life easy. We don't really have a place set on where to eat yet as I'd like to see who else can do this first. I'll be PMing people I can think of that are in Michigan, and if I forget about you somehow, shoot up a reply here. Cheers John Herreshoff |

| Junior Member | Time hasn't been set yet. We have to see who all is interrested before getting that far. For me, a dinner time is not out of the question. I am open anytime after noon. |

| Old Skool | Heya guys, Looks like we've got the following as can totally go: -Me -Emily -sopdan -Mark -Mark's wife The following can possibly make it depending on schedule: -SteveC -Bandit -CA -Photopilot -adreamer -averym So this looks like it has enough potential to be cool, so I say we make it offical. Can everyone swing the following: Thursday, December 2nd in Lansing Michigan at the Airport Tavern at say 6:00 p.m.? |

| Beside the work schedule. John, you forgot one more thing - weather. If the weather & drivers like what I saw last night at GRR, I may not make it. It was crazy last night. adreamer |

| Old Skool | You are very right about that one. It was nuts around lower Michigan the other night. Down around Ann Arbor we got rain for most the day, then it turned into sleet, then kind of slushing freezing rain, then finally snow. More than that I think, people in Michigan seem to always forget how to drive on the slick stuff the first time it comes down every winter. |

| 11" of snow on Wednesday afternoon / evening here. Not just snow, but the temperature allowed it to get as slick as ice on the well-traveled roads. Not good. Yesterday was gorgeous, though. Most of the roads had been cleared and the sun was shining. |

| Steve, the rumor is you and your wife are party animals. Maybe I should hunt you down at GRR since I go there Monday through Friday. adreamer |

| Party animals? At our age??? I think those young JC whippersnappers are giving us too much credit. ![]() Feel free to drop me a PM when you're coming up and we'll try to work something out. Now that I'm flying full-time and living with a cell phone leash my plans are always subject to change, but I'd be up for a meeting. ![]() |

| John, ""fine conosures of the Grand Rapids" is a very nice term. My wife and I called it "Jungle". Maybe you and Emily are party animals in disguises. ![]() adreamer |
