| You can put me on as a *very* tentative - it's an idea to toss around and I NEED a vacation (though I'll be in PHX in February again...). I'll decide in the next week most likely as I need to buy a ticket while they're affordable if I'm going to do it. Sarah |

| I'll be in town from the 20th-30th, gotta come back to FL for a wedding. My wife, friends, and I usually get together and head to Jillian's for cosmic bowling if anyone is game. It will be some time that week. |

| Umm, Trying to get back to FL on the Jan 1st is going to be my greastest challenge ever attempted. Just checked the seats available on DL travel line, and it looks like it will be an all day affair. All the flights to ATL are negative seats in coach , but still have descent amount of seats in FC. ![]() |

| Holy #@$#. I just pulled loads from SLC to PHX on the 30th and 31st. All 16 flights are oversold... damn you little RJs, damn you! |

| Big Chief's Woman | I wouldn't count on that....I had no idea you guys were traveling standby! I'd see if you can get a ticket still if you want to get back on Jan 1 cuz otherwise, you'll be spending all day and possibly 2 days after trying to non-rev home! keep in mind that FC goes fast on domestic cuz they offer yield fare deals like $50 upgrades and so forth.. i've tried nonrevving that way this past year and it has not done me any good.. learned my lesson big time! the only time i can actually count on FC helping me out is when traveling on an overseas flight. DAL's really made it quite difficult to travel standby unfortunately. are you traveling on an S4 or are you able to get an S2? if your able to get an S2, i'd go for it without blinking.. but if your on an S4, i'd seriously look at a different method! If you can't make it out this time, save the $$ for Network JC 2005 cuz then the money would be much better spent - and we'd rather have you attend NJC for your own benefit, than our party.. which i gotta say is going to be a blast.. but we'll also be partying just as hard at NJC 2005!!! ![]() |

| Ah yes, I'm about to go load-checking for the commute and I'm sure it will be interesting trying to get to work on the 22nd. ATL-MCO is probably one of the worst routes in existence to try to non-rev on. If you want to get home from PHX allow me to suggest a "creative" routing of some kind. Go to JFK and pick up Song or try routing via DFW or SLC if possible. Failing that, fly to FLL or MIA instead and grab a CHQ flight up to MCO. Or, if you get to ATL, fly ATL to CHS or TYS or BNA or someplace like that and get a Connection flight to MCO from there. ATL-MCO always looks attractive because of all the 763s, 764s, and 777s on the route, but the loads are absolutely nightmarish. We have some MCO-based pilots that commute from ATL and they report riding in the cockpit FREQUENTLY in order to get to/from work. The one and only time I did ATL-MCO (on the 767-300 no less) I was in the second jumpseat up front ... and that was the third flight I tried to get on!! |

| Don't forget that with Utah in the Fiesta Bowl on the 1st, traveling to/from SLC may be more difficult than usual. Tickets to PHX were high for that weekend. I had to really search to find an affordable fare - and am returning on the 3rd because it was a HUGE difference over the 2nd pricewise. And Southwest? Wow. All but their refundable fares were sold out, and with taxes that fare neared $500 RT... looking forward to the party, going to the Fiesta Bowl, and the whole weekend! Sarah |

[/ QUOTE ]I'll second that! my sister lives in orlando now and i can't even get in to see her & my little niece - EVER, even on an S2! last time i went, i bought a ticket...and i'll probably continue to do so in the future cuz even getting into/out of SRQ and driving up is hellacious load wise! |

| I agree with that !!! I only did non-rev once for tour at DCA academy. It was an amazing experience. I was sitting on 777's business class. The joke I always say - There are more buttons to push in business class seat than your X-Box." adreamer |
