How about a Florida, or at least Central-South Florida get together? We would have to meet down here though cause I don't fly yet. It could be at FLL or FXE.

FLL is a little far south for me (I'm in SUA). PBI is about the limit for right now. But I would be up for something, assuming I get the time to do it.

How about ORL? JohnTenney and Kellwolf are there (or near there) and it's central to pretty much every airport in the state.

ORL would take 3 hours for me to get up to and my parents wouldn't wanna drive me. FLL is just half an hour and I can get there. Whatver you guys decide.

I'd be flying out of DAB.
Has the customer service been any better at FLL if thats what you are thinking? Last time I parked there, it was up the tailpipe of a KingAir's PT6's just idled on the ramp. Blasted my passenger and made the aircraft rock. Not ot mention the Ramp fee or the amount of fuel you have to buy at steep rates.

I'd be down for LAL. They have a decent restaurant on the field. OCF and SGJ also have good restaurants. I think Brian would have a problem getting there unless he could find someone around FLL to hitch a ride with. I've flown into FXE once, and I swore I would never do it again unless someone was paying me to do it. Fuel prices are high, ramp fees if you DON'T buy fuel are high, and I had a real headache getting out of parking. They put me BETWEEN two aircraft (after I told them I would only be there for 20 minutes tops), and I had to push myself back. Then the fuel truck pulled up right off my left wing to fuel the plane next to me. Took this guy (no lie) 15 minutes to fuel a 152! Then I had to wait to taxi out b/c of the King Air and G-V pulling in in front of me. WAY too small of parking space for an airport that busy. If we do it at FLL, I'll probably just non-rev down on SWA.
