JOB DESCRIPTION PRINCIPAL DUTIES: •Meets customer aircraft on tarmac and directs pilots to unloading area. Tows and parks aircraft in assigned locations with tractors and tow bars, performing any necessary service or paper work. •Prepares aircraft for flight or customer acceptance by removing aircraft covers, and servicing fuel and oil tanks, anti icing, and, in some cases, oxygen. Assists crews and passengers with luggage transport and special requests. •Performs such flight line services as connecting ground support equipment for air conditioning, heating, and power; supplying, cleaning, and servicing galleys; refueling both reciprocating and turbine powered aircraft; cleaning and maintaining lavatories; standing fire watch when starting engines; etc. •Provides shuttle service to airport, hotels, restaurants if required. •Observes all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping rules and policies. •May perform other duties as required by the department. Skills •Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written. Must have good interpersonal and verbal skills in order to interface with customers and employees. •Physically able to lift 70 lbs. on a regular basis. •Excellent communication skills •Physically able to stand or walk 7.5 hrs daily •Will frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, grasp, and carry object •Must be courteous, tactful, and friendly as there is considerable contact with customers, employees, and company visitors. I fell over laughing until I noticed it was for Landmark and not the Airline Ramps. It seems like there are 10 languages spoken on the ramp but non of them are English.
