Default Saratoga and 39kt crosswind

Mav I just had a guy try to land on 26 with a 39kt crosswind. Winds were 330 at 22 gusting to 39. He almost hit the tower.I think he needs new shorts.

That's why people should work the line once in their life, to see what NOT to do.

Sad, but true. Unfortunately, I've seen people make huge mistakes that have resulted in them no longer being here.

He did not see the wind sock. At one point he heard 280 for winds. He got about 50ft above 26 and almost stalled it, then went around to 35.The wind was so strong it was pushing the plane towards the beacon tower.Missed it by about 100ft.
