|  Getting desperate in SLC
Unemployment's running out soon, I'm nearing desperation here. Anybody got any possible leads in the SLC area for a non-CFI (and no, I don't have the $$$ to go get my CFI), Com/Inst/SEL/MEL with 1170/10? That last 30 hrs to 135 IFR mins is killing me, got everything but the TT. I'd even ride shotgun for very little if it'd help get me that 30 hrs. Thanks for any help/suggestions.

AFAIK, the job market here is absolutely dead...especially with no CFI. I've been looking here for a while too. I'll definitely let you know if I hear of anything though. Are you working a non-aviation job to make ends meet?

Did you try FLX I thought they hire like 30ish hours short of 135 min's.

No, I didn't; you sure about that? If so, that's a great idea. I'd heard that AMF will hire at like 20 short, but with as many experienced dudes on the street, figured that competitive times were much higher.
