Default AirNow - Vermont

Does anyone fly for these guys? Or does anyone know anything about them?

http://www.airnow.com/Index.htm

They fly C208s and EMB110s.

I can tell you they are not hiring, but that's about it!

Heard that they are getting rid of the caravans. Also heard they may be bought out by Wiggins. Mostly UPS runs up and down the east coast. Not hiring but accepting apps, yadda yadda ya...

bestaviation.com is showing that pilot positions are in the positive

Yeah, they're website made it seem like they were looking for pilots. But I would want some more info before I submit a resume.

Not trying to slander or anything, but here is some more info.

Accident history: http://aviation-safety.net/database/...e.php?var=7338

They also had a lawsuit back in 2005/2006 for an EEOC illegal firing. I guess they fired the pilot for refusing to fly with broken essential equipment. Pilot won. Couldn't find a link anymore to the story.

I heard the ink isn't on the paper, but this is round two for that deal.

I did three weeks of training with AirNow and then left. I saw lousy maintenance, poor training, and an awful safety record. You could not pay me enough money to work for AirNow.

I would be very surprised if they were hiring. We bought (ie. undercut) them on quite a few routes, like 8 i believe, just a couple months ago.
