Track to a VOR hit a radial outbound. They will ask you to tell them when your are over a certain intersection. So be sure you know how to work the DME beforehand. Enter the published hold and fly 1 turn. After that, they vector you for an ILS. Its the one into KORL. Don't go below mins. and you will have the job. Then you're gonna take an instrument commercial test but that is for both you and them to have a good understanding of where you are knowledge wise. Has no bearing on whether you get the job or not. I flew horrible for the first 3 minutes of it. So much so he stopped the sim and said that I needed to relax a little bit. After that I did just fine but all they are looking for is you not to make dumb mistakes and have a good attitude. If you need anything let me know and good Luck. |

Watch the LOC/BC into ORL, I didn't do it on the checkride but that was a tough once since I didn't have DME. Good luck! |

I started flying 135 as an SIC with about 500 hours TT. I don't know many who would hire a 1200TT 135 PIC, but than again what do I know, I'm Plane Stupid. | |
