I'm a CFI who resides in Maryland and I'm looking for a CFI job in Fort Worth, Texas. Does anybody know of any schools in that area who are hiring.

Try U.S. Flight Academy at DTO, just north of FW. I know that they have been going through some major changes lately and it might be worth a look. Great planes at a cool little airport. www.usflightacademy.com |

I second the motion for the U.S. Flight Academy. I looked for a flight instructor job in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and considered working for them. I think I remember them having some sort of minimums to teach though. I ended up getting a job with ATP so I am set for the moment until the regionals come calling. The U.S. Flight Academy does have a great school environment and the place is well maintained. I think I remember them having nice planes too. You also could try Monarch Air based in Adisson (ADS). They have a pretty good thing going too. They are a Cessna pilot center and they are a descent company to work for. I worked at Monarch for 2 months prior to getting on with ATP. However, this location is east of the Fort Worth area. Good luck in your search. Drop me a line ........maybe I can point you to a few friends.

Hey All, I got hired on at USFA last week so I'll be heading down to the DFW area soon. If we all have time, maybe we should consider a 'JC DFW' get-together sometime. |
