At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently we are seeking an Assistant Chief Pilot. This position is based in Reading, PA.
Main Duties

Assist the Chief Pilot in managing and coordinating the specimen flight operation.
The Assistant Chief Pilot will oversee and manage the individual’s pilot base.
Perform the duties of Captain on specimen flights. Assist in the responsibility of managing pilot schedules, pilot training, and submitting route proposals.

Required Knowledge

Knowledge of specific company aircraft, Federal Aviation Regulations, Quest Diagnostics Flight Operations Manual and extensive knowledge of Aviation related issues.

Required Experience

Eight years of aviation experience. 1500 flight hours in specific type.500 hours of multi engine flight time. Experience in extreme summer and winter operations is preferred. Flight instructor license required along with 1,000 hrs of flight instruction given. Management or project management experience required.

Special Requirement

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license. Varying work hours: overtime, overnight trips and evening and night hours are a norm. First class medical. Computer skills required such as Microsoft word, excel, access, and powerpoint. Schedule flexibility is a must as the majority of the operation functions on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
