How do they usually run them? Do they pay for a time like 6 months and run it the entirety of the duration regardless if the position gets filled?

Get out while you still can... there's no way any of them are legitimate anymore.[/quote] I hope you are exaggerating enough to be at least partially wrong about this. However, what your comment says to me is: 1) Investigate any job leads with e-mail and calls to the extent possible. 2) This board is a great networking tool that needs to be used both by the job seeker and those that have jobs and know of new ones opening up. Your post is a good warning. Let's keep helping each other out. Tim |

I know there are certain pilot job boards which do in fact "recycle" aged job postings. Is this to increase their share, to promote the appearance that they are "The" job board? Somewhat unrelated is my observation that there was a marked difference in the before and after I joined ClimbTo350. Before I paid my $$ I saw a lot of jobs I thought I was qualified to do. After I joined, those jobs were magically, all of a sudden, very infrequent. This was in July 2007. My skeptical mind causes me to think these were teasers to entice me to join. |

I'm all for the JC forums now... I'd much rather donate to a site that is networked and intelligent, not fancy graphics and false promises. | |

JBOYNM - I have received several phone calls off of climbto350.com. I have been looking at that site for about 3 weeks now. Four calls in three weeks isn't bad.

| Old Skool | Sorry to hear those sites didn't work out for you. Though I have never actually applied to anybody from the sites, Colgan saw my resume and invited me to apply. So somebody for the company is watching the websites .

I don't know anything about this airline but this post is somewhat recent. I found it through airlinepilotcentral.com. Go to the Lynx Aviation jobs page and there you have it. GOOD LUCK! | Old Skool | I've had my stuff walked in there a few weeks ago and haven't heard anything, which is understandable with the holidays and such. I've gotten different answers on their hiring status. They have a pool right now, not sure how many people are in it. I guess you could say they are accepting resumes but are not running classes. They did exercise their options on 10 more Dash 8-400Qs, it is just a matter of when they will be delivered. Word is #11 will arrive sometime in June. I've also heard they might run a class around Spring time, which should be filled already from the pilots in the pool.
