I wonder if I could convince my fiancee to move to Alaska?

I almost (almost mind you) meet all the requirements...
7 yr ex-police officer,
2 years in Afghanistan (that was fun),
60 hours of night,
all my ratings,
but only 360ish hrs.,
oh, and I would have to get the float plane rating, which is no biggy.
and the big bonus for the application is that I am a disabled veteran, so I get preference...lol.
Currently flight instructing, so I will be at 500 in a couple of months max.

Now how in the world can I convince someone to move to Alaska? hehe

Given the pay and the current job market, I actually think that the minimums they ask for is quite low.

Lots of nice scenery up there.

I agree with the scenery being top notch. But just remember, 5 months out of the year you will be stationed at this little town with 45 people in it...lol. (I know I couldnt sell that point, although I could just surprise her...lol)...

Fairbanks is the second largest city in Alaska. A 185 would be fun, but I *#@!$% hate Huskies.
