Well, finished my interview on the 10th. I felt like it went well. They called my references right after I left the building, I've heard that's a good sign? We'll see... Hey Mike, you know a fella named Jack T.? He did my flight eval. Really nice guy. I really really REALLY want this job. Later guys, Heath

Plus, with less than 1500TT your application won't get past the first HR screening, unless you have some of the other wavier requirements ie: combat flying experience, flying with night vision, and what ever else is listed for the time wavier.

| I believe it's waiverable to 40 now.

Here is the wavier from USAjobs.gov NOTE: Up to 50% of the 1500 hour total flight requirement may be waived upon verification of prior specialized skills and experiences (e.g., general military flight experience and training, complex aircraft flight instructor experience, multi-engine aircraft time, night vision device operations, imminent danger, and terrain and/or over-water operations.) How much they waive is up to them, so take it for what it's worth.

Do you have any other time than the time you have listed, Army Rotorwing or something else? Prior Law Enforcement time maybe?

| Yup, phone's not moving, pot's not boiling...just sitting, waiting, as the drool falls from my mouth as I fall asleep! ![]() Nah, they said it'd be around the middle of April before I should expect anything (which probably means the middle of May). So, I'm not too anxious...yet.

Is the requirement for 100 hours in previous 12 months waiverable? I am fresh out of the Army and my previous unit did not fly much.

Based on some comments I heard when I was interviewing, it sounded like that's a big deal and not waiverable. The DAO at OKC told us to be sure and keep the 100 hours up while we waited to hear, not a problem for me, but for some it can be.

| Old Skool | ha, thanks!! CBP is big on hiring vets, i guess. They have a seperate email address to ask Vet related questions. I asked them about my situation and they replied in a timely manner. They said I should be fine adding the points to my app. They just told me to hang on to my orders, just in case. And pull a DD214 when i can.
