I wouldnt mind sending an app in to them seeing how they are 30 minutes from my house. The part that says "These are minimum hours, do not send in an application if you do not meet the minimums" slows me down though. I am sitting about 400 shy of the 2000 mark so looks like CJC until at the very least the winter.

Depending on your instrument skills, 400 is not too far off. Wiggins will get a waiver if they decide you are a good asset to have. I would get another 100 hours and shoot them a resume. PM me for more details

No kidding? I was not aware of that little fact. I had planned on staying part 121 until around November (1 year obligation) and then seeing what is going on. I started 121 with the intention of not staying but moving on to a fractional or 135 gig so that is where I wil eventually migrate. In Nov I will see where things are going and if an upgrade is in the not so distant future I will stick around for that because it is foolish to pass up TPIC. QOL will overule everything though and it would be nice to be local. Ive been eyeing Linear, Alpha, Wiggins and a few fracs like Citation shares and sentient but who knows what will happen. Would be nice to see 30 thousand plus next year with the possibility of 60 in the next few years. I know Linear, alpha and wiggins can cover the 30k part but not sure about seeing 60 anytime soon.

Back to my point. How do they evaluate instrument profficiency, do they have a sim? It is good to know that despite what it says you can send an app in below the 2k.

No kidding? I would gladly fly an oversized 206 than a worthless PCATD any day of the week. Sounds like my chances would actually be better. At the very least I would get that ever useful .6 TPIC.
