Default NASCAR Captain

NASCAR is currently looking for a Captain for our FAR Part 91 Corporate Flight Department in Daytona Beach, FL.



Must have a minimum of 3000 hours total flight time, including 1,000 hours Jet time.

Hawker 800XP or Hawker 400XP Type Rating and experience preferred.



Corporate aviation background required and must possess current FAA 1st Class Medical Certification.



Flight crew members are required to live within a one hour drive of home-base.

Qualified candidate will be a strong team player and customer service oriented.

Are they allowed to land on runways with Non-Standard Traffic Patterns?

Nope. Turns only permitted to the left. The SOPs state only standard traffic patterns, procedure turns to the left, and non-standard holds.

Tower: NASCAR 321, turn right heading 360...

NASCAR 321: Tower, unable right hand turn...

Tower: NASCAR 321, how about a left turn heading 360?
