Default Air Wisconsin

Anyone know if Air Wisconsin has stopped hiring as well? Sent in a resume and it was kicked back almost instantaneously.

I thought I read on APC that they were hiring at this time.

I just talked to my cousin today; he finished the last test for indoc. He said they have scaled hiring way back to about 5 every 2 weeks.
He also said 4 of the initial 9 hired pilots in his class have made it through indoc. As a guard C-5 Pilot, he felt that indoc was considerably harder than he had imagined it could be.

Hmm... Something still doesn't add up. I consider myself fairly competitive against the minimums as I have CFI/CFII/MEI with 1250TT, 1160 PIC, 460 Multi, and jet experience with a type.

Did you apply online? They just changed their application process.

My friend was in a Middle of March class and had about 9 people. He said 1 guy didnt make it through indoc. He couldnt do a manual weight and balance. He said it really wasnt tough as long as you pay attention. They also had a 60 year old in the class, he went bye bye during sim. During systems he said he never made less than a 96% on anything and all he had going in was 480 total time Seminole/Cessna. He said though that the rest of his class is still in SIM and doing good. In fact I should call him to see when his checkride is....

That might be the reason. You have to apply through their online system.

Click "All current AWAC openings," then scroll to CRJ FO.

I would try it again, it might just be a computer glitch. If it still gets rejected, send me a PM and I can give you a number to call.

They've scaled back hiring quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised to see a suspension of hiring for the next little bit. Although I've heard SWA will start hiring again, and there's a good number of AWACer's in the pool there.

Keep in mind they've had better luck with the lower time guys, so TT isn't all that matters anymore.

Also this is the wrong forum for this. Maybe a mod will move it.

A friend of mine who started class on Monday was saying his class was told they would be the last for a while.
