Default Be1900 F/o 500tt

TITLE OF POSITION: First Officer, BE1900D
SALARY LEVEL: Start at 25 K plus pay incentives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Commercial Pilot Certificate- Airplane Multiengine Land with Instrument
rating issued by U.S. Department of Transportation.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate
• 500 hrs total flight time - Instructors with experience preferred
• 50 hrs actual or simulated instrument flight time
• Proficient on instruments in a multi-engine airplane and prepared for
written, oral and simulator evaluations, to be administered in conjunction
with the selection process.
• No record of FAA Administrative or Certificate action within 24 months of
application and 30 months prior to permanent assignment as Company
Pilot.
• Able to lift 75 pounds without injury.
• Posses a valid State issued Driver’s License, U.S. Passport, and
Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (FCC 605-FRC)
• Must meet all background qualifications for airport access authorization
and Era Aviation general employment standards
• Must be willing to relocate permanently to within one hour driving distance
from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (PANC)

avoid era if you want to upgrade. go to ace, you'll upgrade in a year if you start with 500TT

do you start in the 207 if you have more than 500TT at ACE?

Yeah, if you want to make lower 48 regional pay in alaska where you could make way more, and get treated poorly, and be the laughing stock of all other ak pilots (ok maybe that was an exageration but seriously)

That's a big exaggeration.


Keep in mind that ERA *is* in bankruptcy though, and Frontier is looking to get back at them for starting service to Fairbanks and Bethel. They've already taken their first retaliatory strike by starting service to Kodiak.

Say what you will, they still don't pay worth a damn, and don't fly enough to make it worth while. At frontier alaska at least you can get into the sled or the Jo and make some real money, rather than make regional wages. Ace is in the same equipment and their crews make about 10k more per year. No contest. I was just in kodiak yesterday, I haven't heard anything about frontier coming down there when are they starting that?
