| North American Airlines - Manager of the IEP and Safety Quote:
The Manager of the Internal Evaluation Program (IEP) and Safety Programs will be responsible for the overall daily administrative management of the North American Airlines IEP and Safety Programs. This position reports to the Director of Safety and is responsible for development and implementation of an IEP in accordance with the guidance contained in FAA Advisory Circular 120-59. Additional responsibility includes assisting the Director of Safety in the day-to-day administration of the airlines Safety Programs.
The Manager of IEP must have outstanding organizational skills and will be expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Job Requirements:- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience in flight operations, dispatch, maintenance/engineering, ground operations, or in-flight services.
- Must have two (2) years audit experience or approved industry recognized audit qualification.
- Must have the ability to acquire and present information through independent reading, interviews with subject-matter specialists, online research, or other appropriate methods.
- Must have working knowledge of regulations governing commercial aviation safety, security, environmental, and employee health and safety.
- Must have no record of safety or compliance violations.
- Must have the ability to read and understand technical manuals, documents, and regulations pertaining to a wide variety of operational areas.
- Must have strong critical thinking and reasoning abilities.
- Must have strong team-building and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Must be punctual and have regular, consistent work attendance.
- Must consistently present professional appearance.
- Must have current passport.
- Must have high school diploma or GED. Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.
- Training or aviation experience in accident investigation, inspection, or quality assurance preferred but not required.
- Process improvement experience or training preferred but not required.
