| I really appreciate the info, but yeah the pay is too low.I'v noticed that pay for instructors has come up substancially. I just can't see any professional pilot working for 10 bucks an hour, unless room and board and maybe some bene's are included like a car, expense account, and a blonde or burnette. Yeah that would do it! |

| And it's per flight hour, so all the time spent pre/post-flighting, washing the airplane is volunteer work....

| Well, it's probably traffic watch, which means just a couple hours a day anyway. I could see using it as a gig to supplement the CFI pay. There might be some other perks, too.

| Yeah it would not be a bad deal to supplement instructor pay. Plus you have to take into account the pure entertainment value of flying circles over downtown Austin laughing at the poor groundpounders stuck in traffic for hours on end. I always picture the beginning of "Air America" when I think traffic watch though lol. |

| I agree the pay is crap...you could make more taking orders at Rudy's. But I figured at least post it and let others decide what to do with it. |

And you're done. Repeat same for the afternoon drive slot. I kid, Austin. I do like it. Hell, I'd do the job if I had the TT. I could still do my existing job and do that one if it was a split-shift type thing.
