JOB DETAILS:


A position for a corporate pilot is available in the SCANA Aviation department. This position is responsible for serving as a pilot on the Company’s King Air BE-350 aircraft. The pilot is responsible for the safe conduct of each assigned flight. He/she must ensure compliance with all applicable FAA regulations as well as corporate policies and procedures. The pilot also will be expected to provide excellent customer service for our passengers. The job will also entail collateral administrative duties such as coordinating aircraft scheduling, maintenance, security and safety. The work week on average will be 40 hours consisting of the combination of flight time, standby time and the administrative duties previously outlined. At times the position will require overnight travel, early morning, evening and weekend work.

Qualifications:
These aircraft are operated in a two-pilot crew environment. Therefore, in addition to strong flying skills, the applicant must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work harmoniously in a small department setting.

This position may be either First Officer or Captain depending on the candidate’s level of experience.

Airman Certificates and Ratings
The applicant must have at least an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land and Instrument Ratings. An Airline Transport Pilot certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land ratings is preferred.

The applicant must have at least a current Second Class FAA medical certificate with the ability to obtain a First Class medical certificate. A current First Class FAA medical certificate is preferred.

Flight Time
The applicant must have at least the following flight hours:
Total flight time: 1500 hours or greater
Multi-engine flight hours: 100 hours minimum, 500 hours preferred.
100 hours in turbine-powered aircraft is preferred, as well as experience in Raytheon/Beechcraft King Air aircraft.

Educational requirements
At least a high school diploma is required. A 4-year college degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
