Fixed Wing Pilot SpecialistRequisition ID13193LocationFort Worth, TX DescriptionBusiness Name: Bell Helicopter Textron Function/Program: Support Services The successful candidate for the Fixed Wing PILOT position will have the following background and capabilities: 1. Ability to operate company aircraft in accordance with all Federal, State and local rules and regulations. This position will require the ability to act as Captain or Co-PILOT and perform duties as assigned. 2. The ability to work a flexible, varied work schedule consisting of day and night hours with weekends and holidays as necessary. 3. The ability to operate aircraft in a safe and efficient manner. 4. Responsibility for maximum safety and comfort of passengers and crewmembers when assigned as PIC. 5. The ability to make command decisions regarding the operations of a flight when assigned PIC duty. 6. The ability to conduct flights in compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations. 7. Knowledgeable of latest changes in aircraft operations and procedures. 8. Experience in the proper loading of aircraft in accordance with aircraft flight manuals. 9. Preparation of flight logs and maintenance trip sheets as assigned. 10. Responsiblity for successful completion of all preflight and postflight aircraft activities. 11. Proven Jet aircraft PIC and SIC skills, with good aircraft knowledge and appropriate judgment. 12. Good oral and written skills. 13. Strong flight time experience as shown below: 3000 - 4000 hours Total PILOT Time 2000 hours Multi-engine Jet 1500 hours PILOT-in-Command time M/E Jet 200 hours Night flying time 200 hours Instrument flying time Additional Requirements: 1. Commercial PILOT /Airline Transport PILOT Certificate. (Multi-Engine) 2. Turbo-Jet Aircraft type rating in CE-650, CE-550 or Type rating in EMB-120 (preferred) 3.FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate. 4. Bachelor's/Associate College degree (preferred) This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
