| Senior Member | Ok, some of you guys have seen the other threads I've posted in the past. I'll make this one short... IFTA is getting real desperate for CFI's so they've dropped their minimums to only a CFII. They've also reduced their 2 year contract to a 1 year contract. You still get all the goodies... ~$34k for the first year, full benefits, paid vacation, etc... www.ifta.aero Don't forget to add my name, Miguel Puente, when you apply ![]() Here's the link to my previous thread- http://forums.jetcareers.com/showthr...highlight=ifta (Desperately seeking CFI's (repost))

| Wow, nice facilities if that is really what it looks like. I have never seen a flight school that looks that nice and professional from a PR standpoint. ![]() |

| Man, this is so tempting. But I already have enough hours to get hired at Regional X, I'm just waiting because I don't feel ready. But I don't think it will take me a whole year. Are the students motivated? I have a couple of students right now where I kind of want to do a steep turn with their door open and seatbelt unsecured.

| Old Skool | Curious, since this is a subsidiary of ANA does that get you any points for getting on with ANA? I remember reading a CFI/CFII job posting a few months back that said something to that effect, but I think that was for Korean Air.

| Senior Member | If they actually wanted to hire American pilots, they wouldnt spend millions on a flight school designed to teach their people...just doesnt make sense to have such an elaborate flight school if they were.

| ANA hires some American pilots, I believe. Not any more than anyone else though. Plus they aren't training these boys and girls for free.

| Unbelievable, these guys get to have the time of their lives at this school(check out the amenities) and the reward is flying the 747 for ANA... Meanwhile we get to look forward to flying a crj for 20 bucks an hour, that's if we have enough flight time. By the way, ANA/Jal only hire locally. There are contract jobs though that hire international pilots. |
