PILOT NEEDED
FOR BUSY AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPANY

Cessna 172

Photo missions take place in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and west along the Florida Panhandle to New Orleans. Applicant must have 750 hours total time, and minimum 25 hours in Cessna 172’s. Time in Class “B” airspace is a must.

Our flights occur at regularly scheduled intervals each month. Successful applicant will fly approximately 65 – 75 hours per month. Overnight stays on 1 – 2 missions, with all expenses paid. Actual flight hours are compensated at rate of $25.00 per hour. We are looking to increase the number of scheduled flights, which could lead to this becoming a full time position. Our airplanes are based at Albert Whitted Airport (SPG).

Cool Re: Aerial Photo Pilot

Sounds like a good opportunity if the company is on the up and up (ie, good aircraft etc).

I do this PT in DFW area and its some great flying if you do it safe and plan out EVERYTHING!

Good luck to whomever applies for this!

I emailed the contact person 3 days ago and haven't heard anything back...either its filled, he's out on a job, or they don't communicate well.

When you're flying around 5 knots above stall speed at 800' AGL in the middle of Class C and B airspace...it is hard to figure out.

I agree 100%. That's usually the magic number when someone needs to have time in an aircraft to be insurable.

Their headquarters is actually just down the street from me. If you apply, take into consideration the fact that cost of living is a motha down here. Few places rent anymore, most have been converted to condos. Whitted is a great airport, though.
