Duties:

Perform academic, flight, non-check ride instruction to CNP pilots. Conduct performance evaluations as required. Establish, monitor, participate and develop the Training Program for CNP pilots. Supervise all instruction courses meet training and safety standards, as well as monitor training manual development (ATM’s). Assist CNP to produce and maintain a flight hours program for CNP crews. Give support to implement the Risk Evaluation Plan. Provide assistance to CNP to find the best way to satisfy CNP training requirements and needs. Serve as guidance for CNP pilots and NAS directives to promote effectiveness in operations and also develop tactical operational procedures to improve CNP operations.


Qualifications:

Instructor Pilot. Good knowledge of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft in anti-narcotics operations, including available capacities, limitations and tactical practices. Expertise in formulating plans and policies related to flight training operations and activities. This person must maintain his own currency as instructor pilot. Basic knowledge of command communications, government intelligence procedures, and Department of State Flight Procedures. US personnel must maintain a Spanish-language intermediate proficiency level.
