Just stumbled across this one while trying to find out some other information. Sounds like a pretty decent gig. http://www.state.sc.us/jobs/positions/P000047890.html EDIT: I just called about it, and no one seems to know what were the minimum times needed to be considered for the job. Sounds a little unorganized to me. Thats the government for ya though. |

sounds like one could use some smooth talking to get this one. It doesn't even say what kind of aircraft it is. I assume there are single AND multi.

Thats what I assume. If you click the Class Specification link, it also mentions rotorcraft ratings, but I don't see that mentioned anywhere on the main posting. The way I stumbled across this was while making an inquiry for my 135 company about providing aerial support for surveying and post natural disaster. My boss contacted them a few years ago, and he said that they mentioned a King Air. Thats all the info either one of us could get from them. |

Found out today that my instructor out of FDW landed one of these gigs. Was a sad moment when he told me he was moving on next week. . . then I was told that our airport was sold. |
