| Old Skool | I'm not sure if things have changed but I knew an FO (err.. Copilot) on Cutter's Citation X and she wasn't too happy. Apparently they had a new manager and was making life pretty bad. Her captain quit and the other FO followed shortly after. This was about a year ago so things hopefully have changed. |

| Hi everyone! Back in 1995 I was given the responsiblity of finding a plane "quickly" to charter in order to deliver a proposal to a partner company in Oakland (I was working for an environmental firm in ABQ). So, I opened the yellow pages and called Cutter and chartered a learjet 24 to take me there. I remember that the cost was $7000 one way since they were based in El Paso (the lear crew) and had to fly up to ABQ to pick me up with the binders containing the proposal. Now that I think about it, wasn't that an outrageous price for a 90 minute flight? Not that it really mattered since I wasn't paying, but I'll never forget one of the best flights I ever had sitting on the sofa talking to the pilots while 39000 feet over the Grand Canyon. However, still curious about the price, any thoughts? LPLArunway15 Lajes, Terceira, Azores Islands |

| Old Skool | $7000 for a charter Lear? Not unreasonable or unheard of. Especially to go from LBB to ABQ to Oakland. It's the price of having your own airplane on your own schedule. Try getting a last minute first class airline ticket and see how much they charge just because they can, and what your routing would be. I've seen coach prices as high as $1500 one way domestic last minute. Now, have your own airplane pick you up and the price goes up. |

| It would probably be more than twice that on my Lear 31 today. Not unheard of at all. Pretty standard. My airplane charters for $2,065 per hour plus expenses and overnight charges if applicable, and there is no such thing as a "one way" for us. Everyone gets charged for round trip regardless if pax are aboard. |
