817 area code is about a 2 hour drive from "central texas"

Nah. My cell phone # begins with 817 and I live in Dallas and just about all of Fort Worth uses 817 area code. They really should post some mins and aircraft type.

817 is dfw....thats more north Texas than central.......hell ill send em a resume tomorrow just for fun.

i know thats my point. dfw = north texas

i'd classify just NW of austin to be CENTRAL texas

hell abilene could be central texas.... 817 area code is not even close to being centex
