Doing good so far, just getting more comfortable. Still working on the landings of course, the usual I guess. My instructor keeps throwing things at me I don't expect, like the Foggles today. I just try to roll with what he wants, and do the best I can with things. He is both tough and knowledgeable, and I feel like he is teaching me to be a PILOT and not just someone who can fly. So I am fortunate.

This is one of the jobs I'd LOVE to have when I get out of the navy... I've been eyeing it for about 2 years now

I'm working on that 1200 though... Only need 400 more hours in 15 months!

Think I can do it?

"... or flight school training"

I think an AS in Aviation Science and tons of flight school expirience (at a CPC) would help out...

Just... need... 1200... hours...

A 4 year degree in Independence, KS is about as common as a 17 year old virgin these days. Hey anyways, if anyone comes down and interviews, let me know and maybe we could grab a bite or something.

Houses are DIRT ASS CHEAP here. That was why I moved here, and its a nice little town. I enjoy it a great deal.

If it's in Independence, that means more than likely it's Cessna. Which means guys with degrees, flight school experience, and everything else under the sun are gonna come in droves to apply for this one. Look for stiff competition. Then again, you do have to move to Independence.

Yep it's Cessna.

Lloyd, you get it this round, then in 14 months, when you've taken over the place and are running it and I'm about to be on terminal leave, I'll shoot you my resume!

How did you guess that?

Was it the fact the job description mentioned Cessna several times or did you just guess?
