Default Instructors wanted here in SC!

Hey all you JC CFIs!!

We need 2 instructors at Coastal Aviation here in Charleston, SC.

Our 135 Certificate is finally approved and one of our full time instuctors is moving into the 135 area.

We have one full time instructor leaving to move on to bigger planes.

So we have 2 openings for full time instructors.

CFI required (obviously) and CFII is preferred. 300 Hours TT min required as well for the insurance company.

When you start, you'll be taking up the student load of our current instructors... Build up your hours and possibly move into the charter side yourself.

Our instructors are averaging about 80-100 hours billable a month.

Our future expansion plans (which are solid as jello right now but are getting more firm every day)...

We have a G1000 172SP on the way some time in the next month or 3.
One of our students is going to be supplying a plane for lease back to our 135 operation. No specific plane right now, but the prospects are a Citation I, a King Air (not sure which type), or some other plane in the same catagory.

Shoot me a PM if interested... check out our the company's website in my signature for more information.

Let me take a stab...

Benefits: Getting paid to fly an airplane while building experience and hours.
Flexible work schedule.

Yep... Pretty Close.

$15/hr for flight and ground time + $50 a week for full time instructors.
If we choose to wash an airplane, we get $75.

Benefits... I'm not familiar with this term... But we do get free drug screening about 1 or 2 times a year.

But in all seriousness, it's OK pay, nice airplanes, and a fun place to fly.

If you keep yourself booked when we have nice weather and doing ground work when not flying, you can make some decent money.

Default One Down, One to go

We hired one instructor... still looking for another.

Those of you who sent resumes to me, I passed them along but write to info@flycoastalaviation.com for a follow up if you are still interested.

We're busy busy busy!

Don't think so... if so, they kept it secret to me. I think most of the bites came from the AOPA job posting...
