Job Description:
PILOT - Fixed wing for a National airborne remote sensor company seeking experienced pilot to fly aerial photography missions using twin engine fixed-wing aircraft (Partenavia). Requirements include minimum of 2000 hours with current instrument/commercial rating and extensive travel. Relocation to Birmingham, Alabama is required. Related Words: pilot, twin engine, partenavia, mapping, aircraft, instrument rating, commercial rating, fixed wing, aerial photography

Qualifications:
BS

Looks like a pretty good deal if you don't mind living in AL and you're single. Or heck, just get a hotel while you're there, and bank the $$ . This is what a professional should earn. It is too bad it's not in an area I would like to relocate to (or girlfriend is willing to) .

Hey...there's nothing wrong with living Alabama, especially Birmingham...i absolutely loved it! Well, i guess i'm kinda bias...i was born in Alabama by the grace of God!

You can build alot of flight time with a job like this, but once you get on site the fun stops!

I bet you wouldn't be living anywhere - you'd be a nomad; they don't pay that much just because "it's a good comapny" .

The schedule for a job like this usually is something along the lines of 2 weeks gone 1 week work from home and the 1 week off. Its allot of travel allot of flying and allot of money to start.
