This is the flight school that is selling their only complex aircraft. Straight from Becky (chief flight instructor), "they just don't fly and they are too expensive. That is why we sold the Seneca." Don't plan on getting any multi or complex here. LOTS of privates - that’s it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: She will not hire anyone from ATP or an accelerated CFI program. She said she had a bad experience in the past and truly believes that when leaving a program like those you simply don't have enough experience or knowledge. You also must have your AGI, not a big deal but they require it.

You should have seen the Seneca I. Two years ago before all this fuel buisness even started 250.00 an hour! And they wonder why people aren't renting their aircraft.

So Brett, how have you been enjoying Skymates? I called them about their CFI program.

It's going great. I got my CFII initial on Thursday and my MEI yesterday. Did you get a call back? If not, ask for Leanne because that is who you need to talk to about the CFI training.

I guess you're the Air Wisconsin guy? How is Norfolk treating you thus far?

Brett - I actually spoke with Leanne and she was suppose to send some info but I never received it. I tried calling her but someone took a message and I never got a call back.

Norfolk is almost too good to be true; I'm counting down the days when the company decides to close it ...

That's kind of funny. Two of the instructors at my flight school were ATP ACPP grads when I got hired and I think that helped me get the job here.

It's all based on the person doing the hiring!
