The flight school I teach for is looking for full or part-time instructors in Sacramento, CA. It's a great place to work--we're a 141 school with examining authority for a number of courses, but we're small enough to retain a friendly, personal environment. Anyone interested should email their resumes through the address on our website, www.skywalkinc.com or PM me if you have any questions. -Zach

Is Skywalk Inc. at the Executive airport? I always figured that Executive Flyers was the only flight instruction place out there.

There are 3 flight schools there + ATP on a different part of the field. Skywalk is next door to executive flyers. CFI is the name of the other flight school and they are upstairs from Exec Flyers, a little shady in my opinion though. |

If i were to go rent a plane at the executive airport, which place would you recommend i go through? It looks like most of the places have really nice equipment! Do they have like a minimum amount of hours you need with one of their CFIs before you can rent a plane yourself? I'm just looking around at some different places for when i come home from college ![]() I actually live up in the foothills near Cameron Park/Placerville - where there are also some FBOs, but the equipment doesn't look nearly as nice as the stuff they have down at the executive airport. Just trying to figure out if it would be worth the extra drive down there...

I was just over at Sky Walk on Friday. I am gonna buy a block of 10 or 20 hours in a 172 to get current again before I do my multi add on and CFI tickets. That would be nice to work part time and also instruct there!!

Instructors from there have had a good success rate with getting on with regionals. Of the 8 instructors that left there in the last 18 months, 6 instructors have been hired by SkyWest, and 2 at American Eagle. Keep in mind it's a pretty small flight school. NETWORK!
