I heard a rumor that Era Aviation is going to be needing some twin otter FO's. They have a class starting April 15th. Someone I know in the class tells me that they may be looking for some pilots from "outside" (lower 48). The website has conflicting info, but anyone interested may want to pursue this.

ive been under the impression that era was closing its fixed wing side of the company. is that just rumor or is there any truth to it. may be a good thing to look into before taking a job there.

The parent company that bought them out is considering closing it down. But latest from the inside is that the fixed wing side is showing a profit, and for now they are going ahead full steam. I heard they are buying at least one new otter, so I would take that as a good sign.
