Default Alaska ANG

This is one of those times when I wish I hadn't dropped out of college. For those of you that are in, stay in.

Alaska ANG

Deadline for application is Jan 31, 05. Looking for two HC-130 pilots, one C-130 pilot, one HC-130 nav, one C-130 nav and one alternate for each position.

Good luck.

Well, I tend to think that if you were really interested and had a really good packet they might waiver you. Something to think about Chris is you're really wanting to get to Alaska sooner rather than later.

I do know from having an active duty regular AF C-130 co-pilot friend here in Anchorage that the gaurd here is getting to do more simply because the squadron at Elmendorf is getting more taskings. For example, I do believe that the detachment in Japan is now a gaurd thing instead of active duty. Could be wrong though.....

WHat I'd love to do is fly Blackhawks for the gaurd here in ANC, but I don't see that happening....
