Benbow Aviation has been family owned and operated at Torrance Airport since 1956. We have successfully trained more pilots than any other flight school in the area. Benbow Aviation is located in Torrance, California, at the historic Zamperini Airfield, named for decorated hero and Olympic track star, Louis Zamperini. Benbow Aviation also has a location in the high California desert, in the city of Tehachapi. Torrance is situated on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, just minutes from some of the most scenic beaches on the West coast. Mountains and deserts can also be reached in under an hour by aircraft. Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and downtown Los Angeles are less than one hour away by car. Torrance itself is home to numerous shopping malls, movie theaters, and fine restaurants, insuring entertainment for even the most discriminating visitor. Less than 30 minutes from Torrance, Catalina Island's 'Airport In The Sky' offers breathtaking sights and a truly unique aviating experience. The Southern California weather affords us the luxury of sensational flying year-round.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Open flight instructor position.
Position pays $25/hour.

This is a decent school for anyone interested. One of my roommates taught there and I was going to attend, but decided on 141 instead. Good people.
